Our under 12's team represented the Club in Scottish Hokey's West District Cup Finals held at Bellahouston Park Glasgow on on Sunday 21st March.
The cup final was sponsored by "Fields in Trust" (formally known as the "National Playingfields Association" [NPA]).
Greenock, Kelburne (x2), Clydesdale (x2) and Western Wildcats were all represented and the side only lost 2 games and these were to the eventual winners.
Strong performances were given by William, Alex and Duncan and there was some excellent defensive work by Jennifer, Georgie and Ella. Needless to say Cieran and Morven prooved to be a pretty leathal combination in our forward line. Cavan and John also played a vital role in our midfield.
Clydesdale 'A' won the tournament with Kelburne 'A' coming second and ourselves in third place.
There was a great surprise for
Cieran when he was awarded the
"most promising boy player" in the
tournament.
Fantastic Cieran well done!

You are made of skin and bone and no match for hard sticks and balls.
Please therefore, as a minimum, wear shinguards to protect your legs and we would encourage you to wear a mouthguard to protect your teeth. Accidents do happen at times and we don't want to see anyone hurt. So...
