Caledonian Junior Hockey Club

As the parent / guardian of a player of Caledonian Junior Hockey Club you are expected to abide by the following adult code of conduct:

 Encourage your child to learn the rules and play within them.

 Discourage unfair play and arguing with officials.

 Respect and support the rules of the game.

 Help your child to recognise good performance, not just results.

 Never force your child to take part in sport.

 Set a good example by recognising fair play and applauding the good performance of all.

 Never punish or belittle a child for losing or making a mistake.

 Publicly accept official’s judgement and decisions.

 Never criticise any player, coach or official

 Support your child’s involvement and help them to enjoy their sport.

 Use correct and proper language at all time.

 Enjoy the game and highlight positive play from both teams.
